Ashwagandha is an Indian Ginseng that belongs to a Solanaceae family. Its a multipurpose adaptogenic (non-toxic) herb. The fresh root of this herb smells like a horse. This is the reason, its name is “Ashwagandha.” Above all, it develops strength and vitality similar to that of a horse.
